Rise of the Mosaic Village
Something beautiful and powerful is sprouting up on Drever Street in West Sacramento - a campus of restorative community.
With a new administrative hub across the street from our Recovery Cafe, a newly planted urban farm next door, and criss-cross programming through our resource station at the Sutter Health Mosaic Center, the rise of MercyCo’s Mosaic Village, project is coming to fruition quickly.

WE’RE IMPACT 100 FINALIST!
September 2025 — Mosaic West Sac, formerly the Mercy Coalition of West Sacramento, is honored to announce its selection as the Health & Wellness finalist for the 2025 Impact100 Greater Sacramento grants, putting the organization in the running for up to $100,000 in transformational funding. This year’s awards total a record-breaking $452,000, the largest in Impact100 Greater Sacramento’s history.
Mosaic West Sac exists to support the region’s most vulnerable neighbors—including those experiencing homelessness, substance-use challenges, and generational poverty—through a continuum of care. Its programs include emergency food and clothing distribution, the Recovery Café, trauma-informed internships through the Jobs and Mentoring Academy, case management services, and the creation of permanent supportive housing at Mosaic Village.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Mosaic City Breakfast, a celebration of community impact and the power of restorative connection!
Three years ago, we hosted the first Mosaic City Breakfast to support the new Recovery Cafe. Thanks to incredible community support, the cafe blossomed into a hub of healing, symbolized by its mosaic cup logo—a reminder that broken pieces can come together in wholeness to create a community of warmth for everyone.

Sutter health pledges support via 6 year lease of the
sutter health Mosaic Center
Summer 2024 - In December of 2023, After a decade of working out of the Collings Teen Center, the Mercy Coalition signed a lease for more than 3,000 square feet of space at 929 Drever St - across the street from the Recovery Cafe! Thanks to support from Sutter Health, we can breathe a little easier knowing we’ll have a base of operations from which to further our mission for the next 6 years! Welcome to the Sutter Health Mosaic Center!
